We of The Dramatix Theatre Development Trust believe Theatre should be
available to everyone. We aim to provide opportunities and vehicles for ALL to enjoy a quality Theatre Experience regardless of income, gender, age, or any other barrier.
Our flagship is the Annual 'Lest We Forget' ANZAC Commemoration Weekend at Nelson's Founders Park.
Other aspects of what we do are;
- Theatre Development skills for budding actors
- Work on the development of a Nelson based One Act Play Festival
- Mentoring for budding script writers
- Musical development for locally written music/theatre
Most of all - The Dramatix Theatre Development Trust operates to educate, encourage and make all aspects of Theatre available - to all.

In the three years Lest We Forget has been running, over 7000 people have had the opportunity to experience a unique, fully interactive event that educates, informs, and - without fail, inspires us all to remember those that have helped shape our country and make us as a people who we are today.
Lest We Forget does not seek to glorify war, it 's purpose is remind us why we live in peace.
